As recently as the turn of the last century, it was rare to walk into a home and see family photos hanging on the wall, or displayed in a photo album. The only way stories could be passed down from generation to generation, was by word of mouth. How times have changed!
Today we have photographs, old family slides, negatives and home videos. Hobbyists spend countless hours pasting precious family photos into albums and scrapbooks. But what happens to these photo collections when they are done?
Can they be shared with Aunts and Uncles who live all across the country, or do they sit on a shelf somewhere gathering dust and deteriorating as the years go by? Everyone has old photos sitting in shoe boxes in a closet somewhere. Will those old family videos sitting in that box in the closet ever be seen again?

If someone does want to watch them, will you even have the technological means to play them? And what of the old slides your grandparents and maybe even your father took back in the 50's and 60's? Yes, the ones of you as a 3-year-old with your new baby brother. And I wonder if that old slide projector even works anymore!
The answer is to open all those old shoe boxes and get those precious, one-of-a-kind memories digitized and preserved, so everyone can live them again. Once digitized, they will not deteriorate and lose their quality over time. They will be more easily accessible for viewing, and the digital copy makes it so easy to share with family and friends through e-mail.
Go ahead! Get them out! It's easy to get started, and best of all, we do the work for you!
